"Guide to Green Shopping"
Recently a teacher had her students go to our Caring for our Common Page for information for their project. Part of their project was learning about steps we can take as individuals to be more eco-friendly. The children wanted us to have their resource as thanks and they picked out a great guide to green shopping. Take a look for their many great ideas! "Guide to Green Shopping"

Join our Native Plant Garden Project.
We would like to announce the renewing of a project begun 3 years ago, but discontinued during covid. The Care for Our Common Home Task Force and Faith Formation are joining together to continue work on the Native Plant Garden near the blue shed. The current little garden was planted by children from FF and cared for by Julie Fishman and her family. We hope to enlarge the garden and plant new native plants which will attract pollinators and birds. It will not only be a beautiful addition to our parish grounds, but will be a tool to teach about the importance on Native Plants.
However, we need YOUR help to do this - we are inviting our Faith Formation families AND ANYONE FROM THE PARISH to sign up to help. There are sign up sheets in the back of church or you can sign up on our website to express your interest in helping. Even if you can help just once during the summer, please sign up with your phone and email – we will contact you as soon as dates have been set to start the project. Sign Up Here - even if you can only help once - we will contact you when we set dates.
The Caring for Our Common Home Task Force meets on the first Thursday of each month. Our mission is to educate the parish about our impact on Mother Earth; to enable parishioners to share in the ecological conversion Pope Francis calls us to live; to encourage parishioners to action to care for creation.
